Overview

Annapurna Base Camp Trek short name ABC trek is one of the popular trek in Nepal. It is an exciting trek passing through landscape and culture, with stunning view of mountains, gurung village, terraced fields and variety of flora & fauna. Mt. Annapurna is the 10th highest mountain in the world whose elevation is 8091m. Our destination is Annapurna base camp which is at 4130m which pass through Mt. Machhapuchhre know as fishtail.

Meet with our representative at the airport. Drive to hotel.

HALF DAY SIGHTSEEING TOUR IN KATHMANDU

Half day visit of Kathmandu durbar square and Swayambhunath. Evening time meeting with our trekking guide who will give you some information about trekking, rules & regulation. PM: Free, preparation for the trekking. Overnight in Hotel.

KATHMANDU DURBAR SQUARE:
It is one of the major attractions in the valley. The word Durbar Square translates in English as palace complex and is listed as a World Heritage Site. Clustered around Durbar Square is the old palace, which has been converted into a well-equipped museum. Numerous other beautiful temples, shrines, Kumari Bahal or the House of the living Goddess, Kastamandap (a house build from the wood of a single tree) and other small temples are scattered everywhere in the square. The main palace building is 9 stories high and anyone can visit to the top and experience panoramic views of the city.

SWYAMBHUNATH
It is one of the oldest Stupas in the Kathmandu vally. Sitting on top of the hill to the west of the valley, its unique architecture is one of the most easily recognizable symbols of Nepal. From here one enjoys sweeping and expansive views of Kathmandu City. Legend has it that once upon a time the valley was a lake known as the serpent’s lake. Saint Manjushree cut the southern part of the valley and drained the water out, making Swayambhunath the first exit and an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists

KATHMANDU DRIVE TO POKHARA (820m)

Six hours scenic drive through Prithvi highway by tourist bus or car or 30 Minutes Fly.

DRIVE TO NAYAPUL AND TREK TO TIKHEDHUNGA.

After breakfast half an hour drive to Nayapul and start commence trek to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town beside the Modi River. We cross the main trail to Sudami where we climb gradually up the side of the valley, reaching Hile (1495m) before pushing on to Tirkhe Dhunga. From here the trail crosses a stream and then ascends a steep stone staircase to the large Magar village at Ulleri (2070m)

TIKHE DHUNGA TREK TO GHOREPANI.

This is a pleasant walking day. We trek through rhododendron and oak forests and across streams before making a short, final climb to Nangethanti. From Nangethanti we go up to Ghorepani (2850m).

GHOREPANI HIKE TO POON HILL AND TREK TO TADAPANI

Early morning hiking to Poon Hill to see the panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himalayan ranges as well as sunrise over the tolerable Himalayas. Having its great views of Himalayan panorama from PoonHill descends to Ghorepani and continuous trek to Tadapani (2625m.) after having breakfast. We will trek towards to Tadapani along the ridges of rhododendron and pine forest.

TADAPANI TREK TO CHHOMRUNG

This trail follows descends down to Kimrong stream through the forest of rhododendron. We then walk towards Chhomrong crossing through the village of Gurung. Chhomrong offers you close views of Mt. Annapurna south and Hiun Chuli and Mt. Fishtail.

CHHOMRUNG TREK TO DOVAN

We descending down to Chhomrong stream, and again heading up to Dovan crossing through silent rhododendron forest.

DOVAN TREK TO ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP

The day begins with climbs to Machhapuchhre base camp (3900meters) and to Annapurna base camp. Since the area surrounded by the mountains of every side known as Annapurna Sanctuary. The area gives you a spectacular view of the Himalayas including Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Barah Shikhar.

ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP TREK TO BAMBOO

Early morning ascent for a stunning sunrise and breakfast, the journey returns to Bamboo for an overnight stay.

BAMBOO TREK TO CHHOMRUNG

Descend a long, stone staircase through bamboo and rhododendrons forests to Kuldi. The trek continues through beautiful rhododendron forests and down to Sinuwa. From Sinuwa, the trail leads downhill to the Modi Khola, closing the day with a steep climb to Chhomrung where trekkers will remain overnight.

CHHOMRUNG TREK TO LANDRUNG

Back to Landrung with the remembrance of Annapurna south and the giant Himalayan peak.

LANDRUNG TREK TO DHAMPUS.

The trails enter the narrow wooded valley of the Modi Khola and take us through the village of Dhampus.

DHAMPUS TREK TO PHEDI AND DRIVE BACK TO POKHARA WITH PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION

Trek down to Phedi, and half an hour car drive to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel

FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING TOUR IN POKHARA

Pokhara city sightseeing including Devi’s fall, Cave, World Peace Stupa, and join boating at Lake Phewa.

POKHARA TO KATHMANDU

Drive back to Kathmandu by Car / Van / Tourist Bus (6hrs) or Fly (30minute)
